My main objection to tying student performance to teacher pay is the method of measuring that performance. If we're paid based on how our student do on CSTs, but the scores of those tests don't affect the student in anyway, what is their motivatio...

What exactly is the problem? How do we determine if there is a problem with the teachers or students? Students have different learning styles and ability levels, and teachers have different teaching styles and assessment techniques. Using standard...
